What I’m focused on as of .
Work
Building Entropy Data as Co-Founder & CEO. Current focus: agentic data governance — bringing LLM agents into the data contract and data product lifecycle so governance becomes a by-product of doing the work, not a separate gate.
Open standards
On the technical steering committee for the Open Data Contract Standard and the Open Data Product Standard, both governed by Bitol at the Linux Foundation. Most of what I build and speak about sits on top of these two.
Open source
Maintaining datacontract-cli, which implements ODCS and now sees around 1.4M downloads a month, and datacontract-editor. Newest is Data Landscape, a map of the open standards behind a modern data architecture. Full list on open source.
Speaking
A busy autumn ahead. Next up: Data Product Builder: Building Your Data Product Contract-first at the POA Summit 2026 in Antwerp on 17 September. Then October brings three German sessions — a full-day Datenkontrakte in der Praxis workshop at data2day 2026 in Köln on 6 October, and at the Software Architecture Summit 2026 in Berlin both a workshop with Arif Wider, Mit Data Contracts Vertrauen in Daten herstellen (12 October), and the keynote Agentic AI ist der nächste große Schritt der generativen KI (13 October).
Behind me: two sessions at SummerSOC 2026 in Crete — Overview on Standards for Data Products and Chat with your Enterprise Data — closing out a June that also brought a Data Contracts workshop at Data Mesh Live 2026 in Antwerpen, A Data Marketplace is What Your Agent Needs at the DATA festival in München, and two sessions at TDWI München 2026. Full list on talks.
Writing & research
Peer-reviewed work on data contracts, data governance with GenAI, and LLM-bridged data products — see research. Shorter pieces go out on LinkedIn and the Entropy Data blog rather than here.
